Yes it's True! True Love starts with a SPARK!

Originally, we were not even considering True as a competition prospect, due to the amount of white she had. Problem was, she kept rising to the top of all our evalutations, sometimes by a nose, sometimes by a hair, but always ahead of the rest of the pack.   Amy took one look at the 6 week stack shots and said, “If you don’t want her, I do.  And yes, I’m serious!”

In the end we put things into perspective and decided we would be crazy to pass up this bitch who had so much to offer! I mean honestly, could YOU say "No." to that face?

Sum True up in just one word? JOY? LAUGHTER? LOVE? She is all that and more. She is that special mix of what a Weimaraner was meant to be; She has loads of drive and passion for birds. She is extremely biddable and eager to please. She is unfappable.. She has a penetrating gaze that makes you SWEAR she's trying to tell you something really important. She's an independant thinker, and patience is not her strong suit. Make her wait too long and you're likely to induce a WOOO WOOO WOOO out of her. All this in a package so cute, you can't help but smile at her. She is beautifully balenced and moves just like her mom, loads of reach and drive. Just what you'd expect from the daughter of the "flying puppy"!

True brought the laughter into my life, even when she's naughty, it's hard to stay mad at her for long!

October 2009 Update: True finished her Championship with a bang! Winner's Bitch and Best Opposite Sex to finish and Best of Breed the following day! True is OFA Excellent.

May 2010 Update:

True is on loan to Torrie Coulter of Thermopolis, WY. Torrie and True will be competing in 4H, AKC and UKC, doing Obedience, Junior Showmanship, and Agility. Both are having a blast and they won Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in their first show, the county Fair. Way to go girls!

Right: True stakes her claim on Torrie.

Never let 'em see you when you're breaking
Never let 'em see you when you fall
That's how we live and that's how we try
Tell the world you've got it all together
Never let them see what's underneath
Cover it up with a crooked smile
But it only lasts for a little while

There's no such thing as perfect people
There's no such thing as a perfect life
So come as you are, broken and scarred
Lift up your heart
Be amazed
Be changed
by a perfect Love
by a perfect God.
