                  LORD have Mercy!
While petite in stature, Mercy is BIG on personality! She's an opinionated little thing with a large vocal repertoire, mastering the indignant HUMPF! whenever having to wait longer than she thinks is fair, or being asked to behave herself.
Mercy got a late start on her show career due to an injury. I came home from work one evening and found Mercy with a HUGE laceration on her thigh. After several weeks of crate rest and the "cone of shame", Mercy was finally on the road to recovery. It took longer for the hair to grow back and the leg to be sound again. Mercy finally made her dog show debut at the age of 20 months, 8 months after her injury. She won both days she was entered - not too shabby! |

In March of 2011, I can home from work to find Mercy with a HUGE SIX INCH LACERATION on her thigh. A thourough search of the yard and dog room did not reveal what she got cut on. Though dogs heal quickly, it was a LOOONG 4 weeks of restricted exercise, bandage changes and the "cone of shame" before the worst was over.

Mercy and her protective "pajamas". Took us a couple of tries before we found a design that worked well.

Needless to say, the injury put Mercy's show debut on hold. She is 14 months old here and looking pretty good! Unfortunately the injury is on the judges side.... |

Are you wondering about the bottle of Vodka?
Breeders sometimes use "themes" for their litters. These puppies sire is named "Grey Goose" after the Vodka by the same name. His sister was "Martini" and his brother "Two Buck Chuck" after the wine. So we decided to keep the alchoholic theme going and chose a quality spirit to go with 2 spirited young ladies.

                            Can anybody hear me?
                The silence is deafening
Why do You feel so far away?
When I know You’re here with me
But I just need faith to see
Nothing can separate me from Your love

                Believing what I can’t see
Has never come naturally to me
                And I’ve got questions
But I am certain of a Love
Strong enough to hold me when I’m doubting You’ll never let go of my hand

I will trust in You, even in the moments I can’t find you, and I will hold on to Your promises of love You’ve never failed before

I know You can hear me
                When the silence is deafening
Even though You seem far away
And I know You’re here with me
But I just need faith to see
Nothing can separate me from Your love
