Due December 27th -- Gunnie & True

We co-own True with Amy Fast of Foxfire Weimaraners. Amy took an interest in True because of True's GrandDam "Rainy", Dual Champion Wynwood's Rain On The Rise SH, was a littermate to Amy's foundation sire, "Stu" Champion Wynwood's EZ Made Spicy Stu, and we thought it would be interesting to see how True might match up with one of the Foxfire dogs somewhere down the road. This breeding almost didn't happen as our first 2 attempts at breeding True were thwarted by bad timing. And our first successful breeding failed to produce puppies.... True spent 2 years with a 4H kid she was on loan to. This past summer she got knocked up by a stray dog and whelped 9 adorable, healthy, black and white puppies.... NOT what we had in mind! We reclaimed her and had intended to have her spayed and placed in a retirement home. But after we got her back, got the weight off and had her reintegrated into the pack, we started to remember what it was we loved about True in the first place. We decided that we owed it to ourselves to at least give this one last try. Well one try was all it took!

She is pushy, won't take no for an answer and has a knack for the inappropriate.  She will put a smile on your face!  This is a bitch that truly has it all – BRAINS, BEAUTY, MOVEMENT AND PERSONALITY.  Oh did we mention PERSONALITY?  True finished with 3 majors, always owner handled by Christine. How could you not love this face???

Nicknamed "Gummie Bear" cause he's sweet and sticks in your teeth, Gunnie blossomed from a gangly teenager into a handsome young dog. Medium sized and moderate, elegant and but sometimes still a goof ball. We love his huge ears (which he's been passing along to his offspring) kind eyes and wonderful expression. He is an excellent match for True, not only in phenotype, but their pedigree lines up nicely too. True's Grand Dam Rainy was a littermate to Gunnie's Great, Great Grandsire, Stu. The other sides of the pedigree aligns well too as "Fred" Ch. Ashmore's WinWeim Royal Flush is a Grandsire to both parents.
